As part of the body of Christ, First Christian Church desires to bring about unity with Christ and with all believers in order to bring many to Jesus for His glory.

The church was chartered in 1888 and met in a downtown building. As the church grew the congregation relocated and built the building at the corner of Troy and Oak Streets.

The Lord continued His work at First Christian bringing more peope to know Christ and to serve in this community. In 1999 the church entered into its second successful building program at 1200 Community Park Road and relocated on October 14, 2001.

On January 21, 2007, we completed the construction of a new worship center so that we can reach more people in this community for Christ.
