FCC is a mixture of believers from a variety of cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds. We celebrate the core truths that we agree on and the less important ones that we differ on. The unity of the Spirit in the midst of diversity is rooted in God’s unfailing and unconditional love. Our core beliefs include the oneness of God manifested in the Father, The Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. Because we are created in the image of God, we are endowed with honor. Our sin has brought alienation from God and hindered us from living worthy of our original place in creation. We believe that Jesus Christ the Lord is the answer to sin, alienation and the restoration of the original calling as God’s children. The church, which is the collection of believers is one and is to function as the body of Christ on earth as it trusts in the head, Jesus. We believe the process of maturity is ongoing and will reach fulfillment when Christ returns and reveals all of God’s Glory.
